Safety and Health Protocols

Exhibitors – partners – builders (employees)

  • Entry to the Thessaloniki Exhibition and Congress Centre (offices and pavilions) is allowed only after presenting the vaccination or recovery GreenPass*. (The GreenPass is either a certificate of vaccination or recovery from SARS-Cov-2 or the EU Digital COVID Certificate)
  • Unvaccinated employees are required to undergo a Rapid test or PCR. More specifically, for their entry at KOSMIMA from 23rd to 25th of September, they should be inspected on Friday 22/10 or within 48 hours before their arrival at the exhibition center. Simultaneously, they have the obligation to demonstrate the confirmation of the negative result by the platform of www.gov.gr
  • Visitors of KOSMIMA must bring with them either their Police Identity Card or their passport, as their identity will be checked against the certificate.
  • The use of masks is mandatory for everyone without exception for the duration of their stay in the indoor spaces of the exhibition centre.
  • A distance of one and a half metres (1.5) must be kept in all spaces.
  • The rules for conference tables are the same as the rules for seating in the catering sector.
    Note The above stands for all partners (drivers and escorts) of exhibitors, construction companies, shipping companies, courier companies, restaurants, catering companies, signpost makers, landscapers, etc. The additional protection measures also include securing adequate ventilation, antiseptic and disinfection points, regular bilingual message announcements, while there will also be a person counter system.

  • Visitors under the age of 12 are not required to present a vaccination or illness certificate but they must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Visitors who have reached the age of 12 submit, as an alternative to the vaccination or illness certificate, a self-diagnosis statement (selftest), which is made by either any parent, even if they do not have custody or guardianship. No physical presence of the parent or guardian is required.
  • A distance of one and a half metres (1.5) must be kept in all spaces.
  • The rules for conference tables are the same as the rules for seating in the catering sector.
  • Entry to the Thessaloniki Exhibition and Congress Centre during the operation of KOSMIMA will take place from the three gates (Emporiou, Sintrivani, and YMCA) at the specially marked locations.

Holding Events

  • During the operation of KOSMIMA no receptions, meals, and cocktails in indoor and outdoor spaces are allowed.
  • The only exception is catering in exhibition spaces for employees or snacks during meetings.
  • Furthermore, no standing guests are allowed at any openings, presentations, etc. For any such event the organiser must be informed and the event will only concern seated guests, maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres between chairs, based on the event organisation protocol.
